LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
MOTHER
WOLF
GRANDMOTHER

HUNTER

SCRIPT:

NARRATOR: Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a village near the forest with her mother. She always liked to wear a red cape that her grandmother made for her. That is why everybody in the village called her Little Red Riding Hood. One day a hunter came by.

HUNTER: Good morning, madam.

MOTHER: (Mom was doing the gardening outside) Oh, Good morning. Mr. Hunter.

HUNTER: I just passed by little red's grandmother's house yesterday, and found that she was not feeling well. I think you'd better go and check.

MOTHER: Thank you so much for telling me this. I'll send little Red to go.

HUNTER: Um.... By the way, I have heard that there is a bad guy there in the forest, so you’ve got to be careful.

MOTHER: We will. Thank you.

HUNTER: Goodbye, and be careful.

MOTHER: Yes, we will. Goodbye.

NARRATOR: After the Hunter left, Little Red's mother went back to the house. She then came out again with a basket in her hand and she called....

MOTHER: Little Red Riding Hood, Little Red....

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Did you call me, mother?

MOTHER: Yes, darling. Your grandmother is sick. I want you to go to her house and bring her some fruits.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Yes, mother.

MOTHER: Don´t stop in the forest, and don´t talk to any strangers. Go directly to grandma’s house.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Don’t worry, mother. I’ll be good.

NARRATOR: Little Red Riding Hood went through the forest skipping merrily with the little basket for her grandmother who lived in a nearby village. Along the way, she saw many beautiful flowers in the forest.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh, what beautiful flowers! I will get some for my grandma.

NARRATOR: She left the little basket on the ground and started to pick up some flowers. And then…

RABBIT: Ha, She must be my friend, Little Red Riding Hood.

Hello! Little Red, nice to see you.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Hi! Little Rabbit, good to see you again.

RABBIT: What are you doing?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: My granny is sick, so I am going to see her. I'm picking some beautiful flowers for her.

RABBIT: Let me help you, and I’ll accompany you all the way to her house.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: That would be great!

NARRATOR: Little Red Riding Hood and the Rabbit continued to pick up some more flowers.

When suddenly, here came a BIG BIB GUY....

Wolf: (Sing: The Wolf Song: I am a Wolf. I'm …) Ahwoooooooooo! (He saw the Little Red Riding hood) Wow! Here comes my food! (He walked toward Little Red.)

WOLF: Good morning little girl. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Good morning, Sir. May I know who you are?

WOLF: Oh, I am the Big Ba... Um, The Big GOOD Wolf. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. GOOD Wolf.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Hi, Mr. Wolf.

WOLF: What is your name?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: I am Little Red Riding Hood, everyone called me Little Red.

WOLF: Aha, Little Red. Good!

RABBIT: Little Red, Little Red, you are not supposed to talk to the stranger.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: It's OK. He looks nice. Don't worry

RABBIT: But.....

WOLF: Ha, ha, ha. Where are you going so early?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: : I am going to my grandmother´s house to bring her this little basket of fruits and flowers. Do you like some fruits? (Sing: Fruits song)

WOLF: No… fruits for me, thanks. Does your grandmother live far from here, Little Red?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh no, Mr. Wolf, she lives just across the forest in the first little house of the village.

WOLF: Oh, that's great! (He looked around) Um..., look! Do you see the mulberry bush over there? Why don’t you go picking some berries for your granny? I bet she would love to have some fresh berries.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: You are right. Mulberries are good for her. Rabbit, could you help me to get some.

RABBIT: Sure.

WOLF: Good-bye, Little Red Riding Hood. I hope she gets better. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh, Thank you! Bye.

(Sing: Mulberry Bush song)

NARRATOR: Little Red Riding Hood kept picking the mulberries disobeying her mother who told her not to stop in the forest and not to talk to strangers. Meanwhile, the wolf arrived at Little Red Riding Hood's grandma's house. And he knocked at the door.

GRANDMOTHER: Who´s there?

WOLF: It´s me grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood, and I brought you a basket with some fruits and flowers.

GRANDMOTHER: Come in my little girl, just push the door.

NARRATOR: As soon as the wolf entered...... Grandma shouted......

GRANDMOTHER: Ooh no.... You are not Little Red.

WOLF: I am the Big Bad Wolf. And you are my FOOD.

GRANDMOTHER: Help........!

NARRATOR: Grandma ran and locked herself into the kitchen with no way out.

WOLF: Hey you poor old woman. Come out! Or I will break the door and get you anyway.

NARRATOR: Grandma was too scared to answer. Then the Wolf thought.....

WOLF: Hmm... I will get her after I eat the little girl.

Okay! Then, DO NOT come out now. Just STAY inside.

NARRATOR: Then the wolf put on granny’s pajamas, jumped into bed and waited for Little Red. A few minutes later Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother´s house. She waved good-bye to the Rabbit and knocked at the door.

WOLF: Who´s there?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Grandma, it´s me, your granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood. I came to bring you a little basket of fruits and flowers.

WOLF: Come in my little daughter, just push the door.

NARRATOR: Little Red Riding Hood entered the house and went straight to her grandmother´s bed, and in the bed there was the Wolf dressed with her grandmother´s clothes.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Grandma, grandma, look what I’ve brought you.

WOLF: Oh, my little girl. Rest for a while. You must be tired.

NARRATOR: Little Red Riding Hood stood there, and looked at her grandmother.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh grandmother. How large arms you have!

WOLF: They are to hug you better, darling.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh grandmother, how big legs you have!

WOLF: They are to run faster, sweaty.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh, how big ears you have, grandmother!

WOLF: They are to hear you better, honey.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: And how big eyes you have!

WOLF: To see you better, Little Red Riding Hood.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh grandma, and why do you have those big teeth and that big mouth?

WOLF: They are to eat you better! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

NARRATOR: The wolf jumped out of the bed and tried to grab the Little Red Riding Hood. She ran and shouted.....

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Help! Somebody Help me.

WOLF: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Don't run my food, Ahwoooooooooo!

NARRATOR: Meanwhile the Hunter was passing by the little house. When he heard the howl of the wolf, he entered the house and saw the wolf chasing after the little Red Riding Hood. The hunter pointed the gun at the wolf.

HUNTER: You Big Bad Wolf, raise your arms.

WOLF: (He ran and shouted.) Don't shoot! Don't shoot!

Narrator: The wolf stopped running. The hunter walked quickly to the wolf and tied the wolf up with rope.

Hunter: I am going to take you to the zoo.

NARRATOR: Little Red started to look for grandma.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Grandma. Grandma. Where are you?

NARRATOR: Grandma came out of the kitchen and held the Little Red tight.

HUNTER: You are safe now.

LITTLE RED & GRANDMA : Thank you for saving us, Mr. Hunter.

HUNTER: No problem, it’s good to see you are alright.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD: Oh, Grandma, How happy I am to see you.

GRANDMA : And I am happy to see you, too. Child.

The Three Little Pigs Playscript

Narrator: Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. Every day they liked to play and sing and have fun together. One day their mother said to them…

Mom:    You pigs have grown too big. It’s now time for you all to go and build the house for yourself. But remember to watch for the big bad wolf or the wolf will catch you. If he gets you, he will gobble you up.

Narrator: So the three little pigs said good bye to their mother and left the house. And off they went to the big wild world and start their adventure. The three little pigs walked along the road….

Pig 1: Here we go, here we go, to build a little house, to build a little house, to keep us safe from the big bad wolf,.. ha ha.

Narrator: Until they met a man who was carrying some straw.

Pig 1: I want to build my house as fast as I can, so the big bad wolf won’t catch me. Please, sir. Will you give me some straw to build my house?

Man 1: Yes

Narrator: He gave some straw to the little pig. The little pig grabbed the straw and set to work.

Pig 1: I build my house of straw. I build my house of straw. I build my house as quick as I can. I build my house of straw. And….now I have built my house of straw, I’m so pleased. The big bad wolf won’t catch me.

Narrator: The other two little pigs were not so sure.

Pig 3: It’s not strong enough. We shall build a house stronger that yours.

Pig 2: What can I use that will be better than straw? Hm……

Narrator: Off they went to somewhere to build the houses. The two little pigs walked further along the road……

Pig 2 : We are going to build a house, to build a house, to build a house, nice and strong, to keep us safe from the big bad wolf..ha.ha.

Narrator: Until soon they met a man who was carrying the sticks. The second little pig also wanted to build his house quickly, so that the big bad wolf won’t catch him.

Pig 2: Please sir, will you give me the sticks to build my house.

Man 2: Yes

Narrator: He gave the sticks to the little pig. The little pig gathered up the strongest sticks and set to work.

Pig 2: I build my house of sticks. I build my house of sticks. I build my house as fast as I can. I build my house of sticks. And …now I have built my house of sticks, I’m so pleased. The big bad wolf won’t catch me.

Pig 3: It’s not strong enough. I shall build the house stronger that yours. Hm…..What can I find that will be better than sticks?

Narrator: Off he went to somewhere to build his own house. The third little big went further along the road…

Pig 3 sing: I am going to build a house, to build a house, to build a house, nice and strong, to keep me safe from the big bad wolf, ha..ha

Narrator: Until finally he met a man carrying some bricks.

Pig 3: Please, sir, will you give me some bricks to build my house.

Man 3: Yes

Narrator: He gave the bricks to the little pig. The little pig took the bricks and set to work.

Pig 3: I build my house of bricks. I build my house of bricks. I build my house as strong as I can. I build my house of bricks.

Narrator: It took a long time for the 3rd pig to build the house. The other two pigs came and said to him.

Pig 2: You build the house of bricks. You build the house of bricks. All you do is work all day and you have no time to play.

Pig 3: I will be safe and you will be sorry when the wolf comes through your door.

Pigs 1&2 : Who's afraid of the big bad wolf, big bad wolf, big bad wolf. Who’s afraid of the big, bad wolf…..tra la la la la.

Wolf: Woo…..Woo…….

Pig 1&2 : It’s the big bad wolf. Run….

Narrator: Soon enough, the wolf appeared at the door of the first little pig’s house.

W: Little pig, little pig, let me come in!

Pig 1: No,no,no, not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin!
I won’t let you in.

Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!

Narrator: With an enormous breath, the wolf  blew down the house of straw.

Pig 1: Help, help, the wolf is here.

Narrator: The first pig ran to the second pig’s house. Right after they had closed and locked the door, the wolf appeared.

Wolf: Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!

Pig 2: No, no, no, not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin!
Pigs 1&2: We won’t let you in.

Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!

Narrator: With a tremendous breath, the wolf  blew down the house of sticks.

Pigs 1&2: Help, help, the wolf is here.

Narrator: The two little pigs ran as fast as they could to the brick house. All three pigs watched from the windows as the wolf approached.

Wolf: Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!

Pig 3: No, no, no,not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin!

Three pigs: We won’t let you in.

Wolf: Then I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!

Narrator: But even with a stupendous breath, the wolf could not blow down the house of bricks.

Wolf: Well, they are too smart for me. I guess I will go home.

Three pigs: He’s gone.

(The pigs sing ‘Who is afraid of the big bad wolf’.)

Narrator: The wolf came back with a sheep skin on his back.

Wolf: Knock knock

Pig 3: Who’s there?

Wolf: I’m a poor little sheep with no place to sleep. Please open the door and let me in.

Pig 3: No, no, no, not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin! You can’t fool us with that old sheepskin.

Wolf: I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in!

Narrator: The wolf still couldn’t blow down the house of bricks and  he was exhausted.

Pig 3: See, I told you what would happen when that big wolf came around. The brick house is the strongest. Now at last, you're safe and sound.

(The pigs sing ‘Who is afraid of the big bad wolf”.)

Narrator: After resting a bit, the wolf came up with a new plan. He climbed up to the roof top. The three little pigs guessed what he might do, so they lit a fire in the fireplace. The wolf climbed down the chimney and…..his tail caught fire.

Wolf: Ah, woo, help, help.

Pig 3: The wolf is gone.

The pigs: Hurray, hurray, we are safe. Hurray, hurray, we are safe.

(The pigs sing ‘Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf’.)
